Use Meet Your Japan on your phone
Add Meet Your Japan to your home screen, then tap the icon to open it full screen, just like an app.
Why add it to your home screen
Added to your home screen it opens full screen: no browser toolbar, and it will not get buried in a pile of tabs. One tap from the street takes you back to your plans and messages.
You still need a connection
Adding it to your home screen turns the site into an app icon; pages still need a connection to load. Offline browsing is not supported yet.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Safari has no install button — you add it by hand from the Share sheet.

Open Meet Your Japan in Safari
Use Safari, not an in-app browser. If you arrived from a social app, choose “Open in Safari” first.

Tap the Share button
The square with an arrow pointing up, in the middle of the toolbar at the bottom (top of the screen on iPad).

Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the share sheet until you find “Add to Home Screen”, then tap it.

Tap “Add” to finish
You can rename it first (for example “Japan”). Tap “Add” in the top-right corner and the icon appears on your home screen.
Android (Chrome)
Chrome usually offers to install it on your first visit.

Choose “Install” if Chrome offers it
When a bar appears offering to add Meet Your Japan to your home screen, tap install.

No prompt? Use the ⋮ menu
Tap ⋮ in the top-right of Chrome, then “Add to Home screen” or “Install app”.

Confirm and go back to your home screen
Follow the prompt to confirm; the icon lands on your home screen or in your app list.
Desktop (Chrome / Edge)
If an install icon appears at the right of the address bar, click it to use Meet Your Japan as an app in its own window.
How to remove it
Long-press the icon on your home screen → “Remove”. Your account, bookings and messages are unaffected.
